For F/W23, Carhartt WIP and Premier have partnered on a capsule collection celebrating a subterranean piece of Grand Rapids history.

Once a major industry in the Grand Rapids area, Gypsum mining helped to establish the city of Grand Rapids. Though the industry is now obsolete, the underground mines and tunnels still remain.

Composed of a hooded sweatshirt, t-shirt and Nalgene bottle, the collection features the Carhartt "C" embedded into an amber-toned cluster of gypsum selenite with co-branding on each item. The corresponding editorial was shot inside the now-defunct Gypsum mine tunnels under Grand Rapids.
