For the latest Air Max 90 release, Nike has referenced the Lahar Escape Boot from 1989. Materials are elevated using a combination of double die nubuck and premium leather that are a nod back to the materials that were sourced from Prime Tannery out of Berwick Maine back in the '80s & '90s.
